Quartz Hill 28, Hesperia 3--Despite four turnovers, the Rebels (2-1) rallied behind Jermaine Reyes’ 102 yards rushing at Quartz Hill.
Reyes, who had 20 carries, scored on a 15-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to cap the game’s scoring.
Erik Holtfreter completed four of 13 passes and threw three interceptions for Quartz Hill. Holtfreter had an 18-yard touchdown pass to Anthony Dupleasis in the second quarter.
Quartz Hill held Hesperia (0-3) to 64 yards. The Rebels recorded six sacks.
