No. 1 Chatsworth Coasts, 13-1

Daniel Eisenberg had three hits and drove in two runs, and Matt Fisher had two hits, including a two-run double, to help Chatsworth High rout Birmingham, 13-1, in a West Valley League baseball game Thursday at Chatsworth.

Chad Redfern had two hits, including a two-run double for the Chancellors (20-2, 9-1), who are ranked No. 1 in The Times’ regional poll.

Ismael Marin and Jason Renno combined on a one-hitter, Marin yielding a first-inning home run to Billy McGrath of Birmingham (9-12, 0-10).

El Camino Real 10, Taft 3--Mike Grossman hit a grand slam in a six-run third inning and Conor Jackson had two hits, including a home run for the Conquistadores (11-6, 9-1) at Taft.

Justin Wade and Dan Chavez each had two hits for Taft.

NORTH VALLEY LEAGUE

Cleveland 11, Granada Hills 3--Charlie Santillan had a double, single and three RBIs, and Vince Zuniga and Justin Savitt hit home runs for the Cavaliers (13-5, 6-4) at Granada Hills.

Dan Frisbee had two run-scoring singles for the Highlanders (6-16, 2-8).

Kennedy 10, San Fernando 9--Marcus Alvarado went four for four and Jack Cassel hit a three-run home run to help the Golden Cougars (18-5, 7-3) win at Kennedy.

Pinch runner Jeff Savangphal scored the winning run in the seventh on a throwing error.

Fernando Rubalcaba had a double and triple for the Tigers (5-14, 3-7).

ALPHA LEAGUE

L.A. Baptist 8, Maranatha 3--Tim Feirfiel tripled twice and scored two runs for the Knights in a victory at Arcadia Park.

Evan Regenstreif (3-2) pitched 4 2/3 innings of one-hit relief for the Knights, striking out five.

LIBERTY LEAGUE

Buckley 7, Providence 3--Colin Ward-Henninger pitched five-hitter with four strikeouts and had three hits, three RBIs and two stolen bases for the Griffins (5-3, 2-3) in a victory at Buckley.

Jesse Alba had three hits and drove in a run for Buckley.

GOLDEN LEAGUE

Littlerock 14, Antelope Valley 12--Jimmie Combs had a grand slam, a triple and seven RBIs for the Lobos (6-10, 1-6) in a victory at Antelope Valley.

Combs, who had five RBIs in a loss to Antelope Valley on Wednesday, helped Littlerock end a four-game league winning streak by the Antelopes (7-10, 4-3).

Delwyn Young hit a two-run home run in the seventh to give Littlerock a 14-7 lead.

Mike Place had three hits and three RBIs for Antelope Valley.

NONLEAGUE

Viewpoint 7, Villanova Prep 6--Artin Sedighan hit a run-scoring triple and Patrick Sheffield had a run-scoring single during a four-run fourth inning for the Patriots in a victory at Villanova Prep.

John Kogel struck out eight for the Patriots (10-4)
