The Suns (14-51) forfeited their game to the Western Warriors at Oxnard College on Thursday night after the majority of the team refused to play because they had not received their most recent paycheck.
JETHAWKS
Cirilo Cruz and Francisco Santiestaban had run-scoring singles in the 10th inning to give Lancaster a 7-5 victory at Rancho Cucamonga. The JetHawks are 22-26. Rancho Cucamonga is 29-19.

Triple A--Kevin Appier (Antelope Valley High, Antelope Valley College) of Omaha struck out six and allowed three runs in five innings in an 11-4 victory over Nashville. Appier, a Kansas City Royals’ veteran, is on a rehabilitation assignment after shoulder surgery. Third baseman Steve Sisco (Thousand Oaks) backed Appier with three hits.
Double A--Right fielder Gabe Kapler (Taft, Moorpark College) had three hits, including two home runs, and drove in four runs for Jacksonville in a 13-11 victory over Mobile. Catcher Robert Fick (Newbury Park, Cal State Northridge) had three hits, including a triple. Mobile second baseman David Newhan (Pepperdine) had three hits, including a double. . . . First baseman Benji Simonton (Pepperdine) had three hits in Shreveport’s 4-3 loss to Jackson.
Class A--Third baseman Dennis Konrady (Pepperdine) hit a home run for Kinston in a 3-2 victory over Wilmington.
