2 Victims Wounded in Drive-By Shooting
Two people were wounded Monday when a drive-by gunman fired on a residential street in Palms, police said.
The attack occurred about 2 p.m. in the 3700 block of South Midvale Avenue, police said. There was no description of the gunman and no additional details were available late Monday.
“It could possibly be gang activity,” said Los Angeles Police Det. Joseph Aparicio.
The two victims, reportedly men, were transported to a hospital, authorities said. Their conditions were not immediately available, although an officer at the scene said their wounds did not appear to be life-threatening.
An investigation was continuing.
