No. 6 Marina 3, Long Beach Millikan 0--Jennifer Kindschi, Jessica Chase and Amanda Gonzalez each scored a goal and Laura Riegler picked up her fourth assist of the season for Marina (2-3).
No. 4 Mater Dei 1, Esperanza 1--Raechel Slocum-Johnson had nine saves for visiting Mater Dei (0-0-1). Esperanza is 2-2-3.
No. 10 San Clemente 2, Edison 0--Ricci Lugo and Whitney Jones each scored for visiting San Clemente (2-0-1). Edison is 2-1-1.
No. 5 University 1, Fountain Valley 0--Darcy McDonald broke a scoreless tie in the second half when she fired a shot from 18 yards, sending the ball over the Fountain Valley goalkeeper’s head. University is 2-2-1.
Whittier Christian 1, Bolsa Grande 0--Mackenzie Pennington’s second-half goal was the difference for visiting Whittier Christian (1-0-1). Bolsa Grande is 1-2.
In nonleague boys’ soccer:
Buena Park 4, Rancho Alamitos 1--Juan Trejo scored two goals and assisted on the other two by Miguel Gaytan and Ty Gardner. Trejo has scored four goals in three games for the Coyotes (2-1). Rancho Alamitos is 0-2.
Edison 2, Trabuco Hills 0--Devin Kato scored the first goal for Edison midway through the second half. Jason Clifford’s corner kick was headed by Danny Collins to Kato, who then headed the ball into the goal. Collins scored the second goal for the Chargers (4-0) on a breakaway with about five minutes remaining.
Servite 2, Los Amigos 1--Matt Terry scored the go-ahead goal with 11 minutes remaining for Servite (2-1-1). In the first half, Brian Donnelly scored his third goal in the three games for the Friars.
