Trepagnier Steals the Show

Share

Sophomore forward Jeff Trepagnier got the first double-double of his career Wednesday night with a game-high 18 points and a team-high 11 rebounds against Loyola Marymount.

Those statistics represented a significant improvement for a player averaging 12 points and four rebounds this season. But the biggest news of the night was his eight steals, which broke a school record set by Cameron Murray against Cal State Sacramento in 1995.

“I didn’t have any idea [about the record],” Trepagnier said. “I was just trying to play my hardest on defense.”
