TITAN DIGEST / ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Share

Ike Harmon

Men’s Basketball

Harmon had 19 points and seven rebounds in the Titans’ victory over Montana State last Thursday. He also led the Titans with 12 points and seven rebounds Saturday in a loss at Saint Louis despite being the focus of Saint Louis’ strong effort on defense.

“He’s still not back at full strength,” Titan Coach Bob Hawking said. Harmon has sprained his left ankle twice this season and has missed two of Fullerton’s seven games. Despite those problems, he’s averaging 15.2 points and 5.8 rebounds.

THIS WEEK

Men’s basketball: Fullerton’s five-game winning streak came to an end against Saint Louis, 80-46, in a game in which the Titans had 16 turnovers and scored only 16 points in the first half. “Saint Louis is as good defensively as anyone we’ve seen all year,” Hawking said. The Titans have final exams this week and will try to regroup in a 7 p.m. game Saturday at Portland. The Titans (5-2) will be seeking a four-game sweep over West Coast Conference teams. Fullerton earlier defeated Pepperdine, Loyola Marymount and St. Mary’s.
