TCA Chief’s Ugly Legacy
* Re “Longtime TCA Chief Hits End of the Road,” Dec. 10:
This soft news pap piece is biased and unworthy of your fine publication.
William Woollett is arrogant and erroneous when he describes himself as a public servant. He has been a self-serving sycophant of Orange County developers for all of his 40-year effort in lowering the quality of life for all citizens in Orange County, whether they know it or not.
His legacy is the blight of these ugly toll roads and the gross overdevelopment they promote. His self-delusion that he is a “strong supporter of the environment” is perfectly exemplified by his attachment to his father’s drawing of the Hoover Dam. As is the norm for a person of low self-esteem and small stature, his inflated ego has left a monstrous mess.
He doesn’t need an art class to show his lack of aesthetic vision. He’s certainly not welcome to “remain active” with the agency. He has overstayed his employ by 40 years already.
