SAN LUIS OBISPO--Bring the whole family to ring in the New Year on First Night in this community. The no-alcohol party begins at 3 p.m. in the streets of downtown, lasting until the clock strikes 12. MAMMOTH LAKES--Take a break from the snowy slopes and warm up at the indoor New Year’s Arts and Crafts Fair, Dec. 26-31. RED BLUFF--Expect to kick up your heels at the New Year’s Rodeo and Dance. Rodeo events begin at 7 p.m. Dec. 31, at the Tehama District Fairgrounds. The dance follows in the rodeo arena.
