PLACENTIA
The city’s Planning Division will decide tonight if there are enough parking spots to allow a car rental agency into the neighborhood. Hertz Corp. wants to open up at 1146 and 1148 E. Yorba Linda Blvd., but because the site overlaps the western side of Placentia Place shoppers say it may become even tougher to find parking in an already congested area. Hertz plans to use 12 parking stalls for car storage. The Planning Division will meet at 7:30 p.m. at 401 E. Chapman Ave. Information: (714) 993-8124.
