Boy, 9, Stranded on Hill Is Rescued
A 9-year-old boy who was stranded on a hill in Moorpark was rescued by a Ventura County firefighter Monday.
The boy and two friends, ages 11 and 14, were climbing the hill at 12708 Misty Grove St. about 3 p.m., and the youngest was unable to get down, county fire officials said.
Firefighters used a helicopter to scoop up the boy, who was not injured, and deliver him to safety.
