* AT A GLANCE: From a pure action standpoint, this might be the most interesting bowl on the docket, featuring teams with a chance to compete for next year’s national title and potential 1999 Heisman candidate running backs Trung Canidate of Arizona and DeAngelo Evans of Nebraska. Even in one of Nebraska’s worst running seasons this half-century, its 254-yard average was sixth best in the nation.
