Clayton Beddoes had one goal and two assists, and goalie Jeff Reese stopped 20 of 21 shots as the defending Turner Cup champion Detroit Vipers beat the Long Beach Ice Dogs 4-1 Saturday for their fourth consecutive victory.

Playing before a crowd of 18,135 at the Palace of Auburn Hills, the Vipers (34-12-9) scored four power-play goals.

The loss ended Long Beach’s seven-game road unbeaten streak.
