U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY TRACK

* County connection: Kevin Griswold of Garden Grove.

* Worth noting: Griswold, a sophomore, broke the school record in the 200 meters recently in a qualifying race of the Rocky Mountain Cup. His time of 21.13 seconds bested the previous indoor mark of 21.14 set by Olympian Alonzo Baber in 1983. Griswold came back the next day to finish fourth in the finals in 21.06, which set the overall school record in the event. He also qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in Indianapolis in March.
