Sean Lampley’s basket with 4:24 left put Cal ahead, 69-56. After the Huskies closed to within 72-64 on Thalo Green’s drive with 2:33 to play, the Bears put it away with a flourish, scoring 10 points in the final minute on a flurry of fast breaks.

Carlisle scored a game-high 23 points, and Kilgore added 18. MacCulloch topped Washington with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

No. 3 Arizona 81, Oregon 66--Mike Bibby scored 17 of his 25 points in the second half and Arizona bounced back from Thursday night’s near-loss to roll past Oregon at Eugene, Ore.

Miles Simon added 20 points and five assists as the Wildcats (24-3, 14-0) held Oregon without a basket for nearly six minutes during a key stretch of the second half and cruised to their 17th consecutive victory, the nation’s longest winning streak.

On Thursday, the Wildcats avoided their first conference loss of the season by beating Oregon State, 71-70, on Simon’s running jump shot at the buzzer.
