* The Pro Prep ’98 football training camp and combine is scheduled for March 8-14 at the old Raiders training site in Oxnard.

The camp will test the speed and endurance of athletes in two sessions daily.

* The Lanark Recreation Center Boxing Club will stage an amateur boxing show at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lanark Park in Canoga Park.

The event is sanctioned by USA Boxing Inc. and sponsored by the Los Angeles City Recreation and Parks Department as part of Lanark Park’s “Safe Parks Day.”

* Undefeated middleweight contender Robert McCracken (30-0 with 18 knockouts) will fight veteran Lonnie Beasley (27-4-2, eight knockouts) in a 10-round main event Friday night at Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City.

In a co-main event, Mexican national bantamweight champion Adan Vargas (25-1-1, 19 knockouts) will face Narcisco Rodriguez (17-1) for the vacant North American Boxing Federation bantamweight title.
