TONIGHT’S GAME

CAL STATE FULLERTON (5-6, 0-1) at NORTH TEXAS (2-9, 1-0), 5:30 p.m. PST--The Titans have a good opportunity for their first road victory of the season if they approach the effort they made at New Mexico State on Thursday. Fullerton lost in double overtime against the Aggies, who had the best nonconference record in the Big West (10-4). Titan Coach Bob Hawking moved redshirt freshman center Matt Caldwell into the starting lineup, and Caldwell gave the Titans some inside power they have been lacking to go with the outside scoring of Chris Dade. North Texas plays a fast-paced game, which Fullerton also prefers.
