GAME OF THE WEEK

CONNECTICUT at SYRACUSE

* When--Saturday. Time--1 p.m. PST.

* Storyline--Things are suddenly tough for the Huskies, who were upset by St. John’s this week in one of a series of setbacks. Starting forward Kevin Freeman is out because of a broken wrist, reserve forward Antric Klaiber was suspended after a drunk-driving arrest, and freshman point guard Khalid El-Amin is hampered because of a bruised leg. UConn sophomore forward Richard Hamilton has been a scoring machine, but Syracuse--coming off a loss to Notre Dame--might be able to take advantage of the situation on its home court.
