Update--Two teams toting two-game loss streaks meet at the three-quarter mark of the ABL season tonight. Long Beach hopes it can launch a surge that will carry it to the Western Conference title and Colorado hopes to hang on to playoff contention. The StingRays had won three of four until recent losses at San Jose and Portland, before and after the All-Star break. At Portland on Thursday, the Power’s Natalie Williams had arguably her best game of the season--23 points, 21 rebounds, two steals and two blocks in a 66-64 victory. Long Beach plays Colorado in Denver on Friday, then gets four out of five at home.
