Montana 60, Idaho State 55

J.R. Camel scored 17 points to lead Montana to a victory over Idaho State in Pocatello, Idaho.

The Grizzlies (12-11 overall, 5-5 Big Sky Conference) took the lead with 1:58 left in the game on a layup by Camel to make it 52-50.

Montana increased its lead to seven with 34 seconds left before a Tywan Meadows layup for Idaho State (5-14, 1-8) cut the final margin to five.

Meadows, who leads the Big Sky Conference in scoring and is 19th in the nation among Division I players, averaging 21.4, had 20 points for Idaho State.

Montana led 30-23 at the half. The Bengals cut into that deficit and took a 37-36 lead with 15:18 left in the game after a three-pointer basket by Meadows. The Grizzlies regained the lead a minute later on a Nate Sil free throw.

Brandon Vaughan tied the game once again for the Bengals with a three-pointer with 10:35 remaining. Vaughan had 10 points and madethree three-pointers.

Montana outrebounded Idaho State, 46-33. Mike Warhank was the only other Grizzly to score in double figures with 10 points.
