* Art. The J. Paul Getty Museum puts one of its newest stellar acquisitions on display July 21. The 12th century German illuminated manuscript “The Stammheim Missal” is the focus of a new installation through Oct. 18. The Getty Center, 1200 Getty Center Drive, Brentwood. * Festival. Singers Rita Coolidge and Walela are among the performers scheduled to appear during the Idyllwild Native American Cowboy Jubilee July 17 through 19. The festival celebrates western and Native American heritage through cowboy music and poetry, Native American music, storytelling, dance, arts and crafts. July 17, 6 to 9 p.m.; July 18, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.; July 19, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Idyllwild Village, Riverside (on Highway 243).
