Margilee M. Haas; Longtime Resident
Margilee M. Haas, a homemaker and Ventura County resident for 32 years, died Friday. She was 76.
Haas was born July 7, 1922, in Wayne County, W.Va., and lived in Cleveland before moving to the West Coast. She lived in Ventura and was a member of the San Buenaventura Mission Parish for more than 30 years before recently moving to Green Valley, Ariz.
Haas is survived by her sons Robert, Randall and Ronald Haas and daughters Barbara Holden, Renee Robson and Ruth Haas. She is also survived by two sisters, Ruth Wade and June Garmier, as well as nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. today at the Joseph Reardon Funeral Home in Ventura. Mass will be said at noon Tuesday at the mission. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity.
