Man Stabbed in Fast-Food Restaurant
An argument over seating in a west Ventura fast-food restaurant left a 36-year-old man with a minor stab wound, police said Thursday.
Christopher Orr, whom police described as a transient, was eating in the restaurant in the 1000 block of North Ventura Avenue about 7 p.m. Wednesday when a fellow customer began arguing with him over available seating.
The argument between Orr and an unidentified young man with a shaved head escalated into a physical altercation that ended with Orr receiving a stab wound to his torso, police said.
Orr’s assailant and some of his companions fled in a vehicle. Orr was taken to Ventura County Medical Center where he was treated for his wound and released.
