Dog Vaccination and License Clinic Planned
Rancho Palos Verdes will offer a dog licensing and vaccination clinic on Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at City Hall.
California Health and Safety codes require that all dogs 4 months of age or older be licensed and vaccinated for rabies.
Volunteer veterinarians will be on hand to administer rabies and “six-in-one” vaccinations that prevent distemper, hepatitis and para-influenza, among other ailments.
Rabies vaccinations cost $4 per animal, and “six-in-one” shots cost $12 per animal. County Animal Care and Control Department officers will be present to issue dog licenses. License fees are $15 for a spayed or neutered dog, $30 for an unaltered dog. Senior citizen discounts are available. The event will take place at 30940 Hawthorne Blvd.
