Nibbles and Bits

The Harmonia Baroque Players will give three concerts on its 1998-99 Orange County season at the Newport Harbor Lutheran Church, 798 Dover Drive, Newport Beach. This is a new location for the group’s concerts.

The series opens Nov. 1 with music for baroque flutes, continues Feb. 7 with music for a small ensemble, and concludes May 2 with music for soprano and lute.

The group will repeat these programs on different dates at St. Cross Episcopal Church, 1818 Monterey Blvd., Hermosa Beach, and Trinity Lutheran Church, 997 E. Walnut St., Pasadena.

All concerts in the Newport Beach series begin at 3 p.m. Series tickets: $30 ($25 for students and seniors). Single tickets: $12 ($10 for students and seniors). Information: (714) 970-8545.
