For Giving, She Receives Award
Anaheim Hills resident Danielle Augustin was awarded the Wallace Davis Public Service Award at the recent commencement ceremony of Western State University College of Law.
Augustin, a member of the Student Bar Assn., chaired numerous committees and contributed to events that benefit neglected and abused children at Orangewood Children’s Home. She and a fellow student also created Operation Read and Succeed, which raised several thousand dollars’ worth of books and donated them to Wallace Davis Elementary School in Santa Ana.
Named Distinguished Student of the Year, Augustin plans to apply for a senior law clerk position with the district attorney’s office.
