Magnolia’s Lee Sparkles in All-Star Badminton
Peter Lee of Magnolia won both of his matches in the state all-star badminton championships Sunday in San Diego’s Balboa Park.
Lee defeated Simon Han of Fremont Washington, 17-18, 15-10, 18-16, and Minh Nog of San Jose Independence, 15-3, 15-10.
The North squad won, 10-9.
The boys’ doubles team of The Mai (Katella) and Vuthy Sem (Century) won, 15-0, 15-11, and 15-12, 15-11.
