Led Garden Grove to the Division I section finals, where he won both of his matches in singles. He rallied to defeat section individual finalist Xiao Hong, 7-15, 15-7, 15-10.

Girls’ Singles
Garden Grove, Jr.
Tran finished with a 58-2 record and her only losses were to Alhambra’s Stella Ng. Tran helped the Argonauts reach the Southern Section Division I finals.

Garden Grove
Toutz, who played badminton professionally and coached U.S. national teams, is retiring after 31 years. She led the Argonauts (18-1) to their sixth section final.

Advanced to the Southern Section individual finals before losing to the top-seeded team of Binh Tran and Nelson Chu from Alhambra Keppel.

Went 50-4 and did not lose a match in the section team playoffs. Their only losses were in tournament play and in the second round of the section individual finals.
