Bollini, a veteran of the junior golf circuit, stepped right in and contributed to another league championship season for the Friars. Tied for fourth at the CIF-SCGA finals with a 72 and shot 75 at the Southern Section individual finals.

JEFF GREENFIELD Fountain Valley, Jr.

Steady No. 1 player for the Barons shot 75 at the CIF-SCGA finals to help team finish a surprising third. His 73 at the section team finals helped the Barons finish fourth and qualify for the CIF-SCGA finals for the first time.

ALEX OH Brea Olinda, Jr.

Orange League champion shot the county’s lowest scores at the CIF-SCGA finals and section individual regional qualifying tournament. He shot 70 to finish second at the CIF-SCGA finals and a 69 at the individual regionals.

NICK SEYMOUR Foothill, Sr.

Century League champion played steadily throughout the season and shot a 72, Orange County’s best round, in the section individual finals at Friendly Hills in Whittier. Shot 75 at the CIF-SCGA finals, his third straight appearance.

BRIAN SINAY University, So.

Last year’s Times Orange County player of the year played well again, helping University finish third at section team finals. Tied for sixth at the CIF-SCGA finals with a 72 and had county’s second lowest score (73) at the section finals.

RON WON University, Jr.

Gave University one of the best one-two combinations in the county. Edged Sinay by two strokes over the final six tournaments of the season, including a one-stroke victory over his teammate to win a third consecutive league title.

Fountain Valley

Led team to its first appearance at the CIF-SCGA finals ant a third-place finish there. The previous season, Fountain Valley didn’t even qualify for the Southern Section team regional finals.
