A white Rolls-Royce belonging to a businessman found slain in Marina del Rey was located in a Los Angeles International Airport parking structure, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

A parking employee at LAX found the luxury car about 11 p.m. Friday, sheriff’s Deputy Angie Prewett said.

Investigators hope that locating the vehicle, which has been impounded for evidence, will help lead them to the killer of John Kenneth Kim, 60, whose body was found Thursday night in an underground garage at the upscale Marina City Club.

Deputies said Kim had been stabbed and possibly run over with his own car.

His body was found a short distance from a guard shack where security personnel monitor the comings and goings of residents and guests at the condominium complex.
