Today’s Semifinals
* CAL STATE FULLERTON (11-15 vs. BOISE STATE (17-12), 2:30 p.m.--Boise State won the only game between the two teams during the regular season, 76-74, at Fullerton. It was the Broncos’ only conference victory on the road. “They’re a scary team,” Boise State Coach Rod Jensen says of the Titans. “They’re very athletic.” Guard Chris Dade leads the Titans in scoring with an average of 17.2 points and has 52 in the last two games. He needs 23 points to move into third among the school’s all-time leading scorers. Sophomore Ike Harmon leads the Titans in rebounding and is second to Dade in scoring (15.4). Boise State guard Roberto Bergersen is fourth in the conference in scoring (19.3 points). Bergersen made the game-winning shot against the Titans in January. Fullerton hasn’t won a game in the Big West tournament in seven years.
