Knicks Hurting but There’s Hope

Share

Center Patrick Ewing is wearing a removable splint on his right wrist, center Chris Dudley has a cast on his right foot and forward Buck Williams is recovering from surgery on his left knee.

But it’s not as bleak as it sounds for the New York Knicks.

Ewing, who dislocated a bone and tore ligaments in the wrist Dec. 20, might return by the playoffs and Williams may start practicing soon.

Only Dudley (fractured foot) is thought to be out for the year.
