Volleyball Playoffs to Begin
Campbell Hall and Crespi highs, teams that battled each other a week ago, were granted top seedings in the Southern Section boys’ volleyball playoffs.
The Vikings (14-1), seeded No. 3 in Division III, will host Southwestern Academy in the first round, which starts Friday.
Crespi (13-3), which lost to the Vikings last week, is seeded No. 4 and will host Pilgrim.
In Division I, Royal, the Marmonte League champion, was not seeded, but has a potential quarterfinal match against Mira Costa. Royal (18-3) lost to the Highlanders in five games last month.
In Division II, Newbury Park (17-5), runner-up in the Marmonte League, will host Temple City. A victory could pit the Panthers against top-seeded San Marcos.
