Police Seek Identity of Mud-Covered Corpse
A man’s body, covered with mud, was found near a road in Laguna Canyon on Tuesday afternoon. Police have not yet determined the man’s identity or the cause of death.
Officers responded to the 2300 block of Laguna Canyon Road at 1 p.m. after a local businessman discovered the body about 20 feet off the road’s shoulder.
The man, dressed in jeans, T-shirt and a dark baseball cap, had apparently suffered injuries to the head and face, said Adams. It was unclear whether that was the cause of death.
