Westlake, Harvard-Westlake Seeded No. 1

Westlake High and Harvard-Westlake, which played in the Division III final a year ago, received top seedings in different divisions Tuesday for the Southern Section boys’ tennis championships.
Westlake (16-0), which lost to Harvard-Westlake, 10-8, in the final last season, has moved to Division II and will face Valencia (13-4) in a first-round match.
The Warriors, Marmonte League champions, feature four players ranked in Southern California by the USTA.
Top-seeded Harvard-Westlake (13-4), Mission League champion, will play Bosco Tech (5-11-1) in the first round.
Wild-card matches will be played Friday, followed by first-round matches on Tuesday. Finals for all four divisions are June 3.
