Who taught the Southern Section tennis committee how to read a map? For the individual sectionals, players from Glendale, Hoover and Harvard-Westlake had to travel to the Northern sectional at Cafe High in Carpinteria, just south of Santa Barbara. Players from Thousand Oaks and Royal were sent at the Palmer Tennis Academy in Pasadena.
