Monroe 20, Canoga Park 11--Monroe quarterback Diego Barba threw three second-half touchdown passes to help the Vikings (3-6, 1-5) overcome an 11-point deficit at Canoga Park.
Barba connected with wide receiver Omar Stewart on a 66-yard pass play late in the third quarter for the Vikings’ first score.
On the next possession, Barba hit Derrick Jones on a 20-yard pass play to claim the lead, 12-11.
Canoga Park quarterback Mike Spangle completed 10 of 24 passes for 123 yards and a touchdown.
Monroe’s DeAndre Philips then gave the Vikings some breathing room with a 20-yard touchdown reception.
Canoga Park (2-7, 0-6) took an 11-0 lead with a 26-yard field goal by Jesus Navarro and John Espana’s 32-yard interception return for a touchdown.
