Columbus Rally Quiets the Noise

After struggling to a two-point halftime lead in the expansion Nashville Noise’s first home game, the two-time defending ABL champion Columbus Quest used a 13-point second-half run to pull out a 84-76 victory before a crowd of 5,052 on Saturday.

Consecutive three-point baskets by Katie Smith and Tonya Edwards keyed the run for the Quest, which trailed by two points before mounting its comeback.

Edwards scored 17 points.

Philadelphia 73, Chicago 56--Teresa Edwards scored 29 points and the Rage outscored the Condors, 25-10, in the fourth quarter before a crowd of 2,157 at Philadelphia.

Taj McWilliams added 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Rage, which is playing without ABL most valuable player Dawn Staley, who bolted to the rival WNBA.

Adrienne Goodson led Chicago with 18 points and 14 rebounds.
