Holiday Closings
Today is Veterans Day. The following schedules are in effect:
* All county, state and federal offices will be closed.
* City offices will be closed, except in Brea, Garden Grove, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano and Westminster.
* County, state and federal courthouses will be closed.
* County and city libraries will be closed, with the exception of the Mission Viejo Library.
* Banks and savings and loans will be closed.
* Schools: All Orange County public schools will be closed. Cal State Fullerton, Chapman University and UC Irvine will be open. Some community colleges will be closed. Others will observe the holiday Friday. Call for information.
* Mail: There will be no mail delivery. All post offices will be closed, and mail deposited in mailboxes will be picked up according to the posted holiday schedule.
* Trash: Trash will be picked up on regular schedule.
* Buses: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on regular schedule.
* Metrolink: Trains will run on regular schedule.
* Parks: All city- and county-run parks and recreation facilities will be open during regular hours.
