Beginning today, motorists traveling State College Boulevard/The City Drive at the Santa Ana Freeway will be able to use a new undercrossing. The area surrounding the old State College freeway bridge has been transformed in recent weeks, a result of the $1.1-billion freeway improvement project.
The undercrossing will have two lanes in each direction, and an onramp has been added to provide motorists access to the northbound Santa Ana Freeway. The completion of the undercrossing also will help to alleviate congestion and offer access to the new shopping center, The Block at Orange.
