Never Discount a Buckeye Victory over Michigan

Diane Pucin just doesn’t get it in her article about the Ohio State-Michigan game. The priority in Ohio is to beat Michigan. Maybe she is trying to rile the 5% of Ohio State fans who will only be happy if Woody Hayes comes back on a cloud. The other 95% will savor this victory for an entire year. And, sorry to say, under the BCS system the Rose Bowl is just another game. Why should any team savor the chance to quite possibly play the Pac-10 runner-up?
