Blades Knock Off Ice Dogs, 4-1
Jason Cirone had two goals and Patrick Lalime had 27 saves to lead the Kansas City Blades to a 4-1 victory over the Ice Dogs on Saturday night at Kansas City, Mo.
Andy Roach scored for the Ice Dogs (17-5-0) on a short-handed goal in the first period that tied the score, 1-1.
Dave Chyzowski and Eric Perrin also scored for the Blades (8-10-2).
Manny Legace stopped 31 of 34 shots in losing his first game of the season.
The Ice Dogs play the Chicago Wolves today.
