St. Francis 24, Pasadena 6--Tailback Murice Law rushed for 186 yards and a touchdown in 23 carries and quarterback John Sciarra passed for a touchdown and ran for another to lead the Knights (3-1) at Pasadena.
Law’s 39-yard scoring run with five minutes to play gave St. Francis a 24-6 lead. His 49-yard run in the first quarter set up the Knights’ first touchdown, a 12-yard pass from Sciarra to fullback Jim Knauf.
Sciarra completed eight of 17 for 99 yards. The sophomore scored on a six-yard run midway through the second quarter to extend the Knights’ lead to 14-0.
Dennis O’Brien’s 37-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter made the score, 17-0. The field goal was set up after Mark Garcia intercepted a halfback option pass and returned it 12 yards to the Pasadena 14.
Victor Anderson completed 14 of 26 for 159 yards and a touchdown for Pasadena (2-2).
