Gary Sonkur rushed for 136 yards in three carries and scored on a 96-yard run for the Mounties (4-1) in a nonleague game at Warner Springs.

Montclair Prep outgained Warner Springs (1-3), 336 yards to 10.

Jason Goss completed seven of 14 passes for 84 yards with touchdowns of 12 and two yards to Deron Smith and 53 yards to Jerome Dennis.

La Salle 57, St. Genevieve 6--The Lancers (3-2, 2-0) scored on seven of their eight possessions in the first half in the Santa Fe League game at Birmingham High.

Aaron Milam scored the first three touchdowns for La Salle, including an 80-yard kickoff return to start the game. Quarterback Sam Lamb rushed for 122 yards and three touchdowns in 18 carries and threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to J.R. Davidson.

After La Salle led, 50-0, at halftime, the second half was played with a running clock.

St. Genevieve scored its only touchdown on a 10-yard run by Juan Martinez midway through the fourth quarter. The run capped a 17-play, 83-yard drive for the Valiants (0-5, 0-2).

St. Genevieve, which suited up 13 players, was held to 94 yards.
