Villa Park Must Forfeit Three Football Victories

Villa Park will have to forfeit three football victories because of using an ineligible player.

Boys’ Athletic Director Frank Becker said the open enrollment form for the player, who was not identified, was not filed properly. The player was ineligible for games against Katella, Loara and Savanna, which Villa Park won.

The forfeits drop Villa Park’s record to 0-5.

Becker said the player’s enrollment paperwork must be approved by the Southern Section office before the player can rejoin the team.
