Calabasas 32, Santa Clara 16--Dallas Enoch passed for two touchdowns and ran for another to lead Calabasas in its league opener at Rio Mesa High.
Enoch completed eight of 14 passes for 203 yards, including scores of 28 yards to Evan Rosenblum in the second quarter and 70 yards to Matt Lowenstein in the third quarter.
Shawn Abdi had touchdown runs of one and five yards for Calabasas (5-0-1) and Drew Coppola was the game’s leading rusher with 124 yards in 22 carries.
Santa Clara, which suffered its 16th consecutive league loss, was led by running back Danny Chaparro, who had 84 yards in 12 carries.
Chaparro’s 52-yard touchdown run in the first quarter gave the Saints (3-3) their only lead.
Calabasas linebacker Jason Nemit led the Coyote defense with two sacks and a fumble recovery.
