In other Central Division games:

Saddleback 13, Riverside 10--Saddleback snapped a six-game losing streak when Julio Peraza scored on a seven-yard run in overtime. Peraza carried 30 times for 107 yards and scored the Gauchos’ first touchdown with 1:33 left in the game.

Riverside (1-5, 0-1) lost in overtime for the second consecutive time. Saddleback is 1-5, 1-0.

Palomar 56, Golden West 7--Tony Alvarez passed for 332 yards and six touchdowns to lead visiting Palomar (5-1, 1-0).

J.D. Stern was 17 for 31 passing with 163 yards and an interception for Golden West (0-6, 0-1).

Mike Daniels scored on a five-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter for Golden West.

In the Northern Division:

Cerritos 51, Orange Coast 14--Cerritos (5-1, 1-0) outscored OCC, 34-0, in the second half.

Orange Coast (3-3, 0-1) scored on a 10-yard pass from Jared Flint to Ivan Mercer to close within 17-14 just before halftime. But Cerritos’ T.J. Houshmandzedah returned the second-half kickoff 100 yards for a 24-14 Falcon lead.

In the Cypress men’s water polo tournament:

Golden West 7, Riverside 2--Adriano Marsili scored three goals and Ivan Vranjes added two to lead the Rustlers.

The Rustlers compiled the best record to win the tournament.

In the Long Beach City College women’s water polo tournament:

Golden West 9, Orange Coast 8--Melody Warren scored six goals in to lead the Rustlers (24-0-1) to the championship.
