OUTLOOK
Keith Short was a big part of Calvary Chapel’s good fortune a year ago and again will be counted on heavily. He was eighth in the county with 1,583 yards rushing last season and his 23 touchdowns placed him seventh among county running backs. His brother, Josh, will take over at quarterback and will have some big shoes to fill in place of Dan Murrietta. “He’s the guy that has to step up and learn the whole offense,” assistant coach Joe Walters said. “Hopefully he can just give it to his brother.”
