Liberty Christian 84, L.A. Lutheran 36--Jordan Andersen rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns in 14 carries, but the Lions allowed 62 second-half points at L.A. Baptist in a game halted because of the 45-point mercy rule.
L.A. Lutheran allowed six touchdown passes.
Viewpoint 56, West Coast Christian 6--Sherwin Shilati rushed six times for 102 yards and three touchdowns and also returned an interception 60 yards for another score as the Patriots won a game stopped in the third quarter because of the 45-point mercy rule.
Nassir Nassirzadeh had two interceptions for Viewpoint, including one in the West Coast Christian end zone for a touchdown. John Vollstedt returned a fumble eight yards for another score.
Viewpoint built a 28-0 lead midway through the second quarter despite running only one offensive play.
