Charter Reformers Set 1st Open House
The Appointed Los Angeles Charter Reform Commission will meet in Northridge on Wednesday in the first of seven neighborhood open houses.
Residents will have a chance to respond to the commission’s recommendations through interactive display boards, view a slide presentation and offer comments and suggestions.
“This is not your typical hearing,” said Chairman George David Kieffer. “We are trying to provide residents with as many avenues as possible to tell us what they think. We need the public’s input before we take our final recommendations to City Council.”
Wednesday’s meeting will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at Northridge Recreation Center, 18300 Lemarsh St.
